unique stay by the river
helpful host good garden
the hosts are very helpful and cute. vickie's professionalism stood out from start to finish. i found the garden a good surprise. the location is convenient, a short walk to many places to eat.
my assigned bathroom was not directly connected to the room and required going into the hallway. this made accessing the shower and toilet at night somewhat awkward to avoid disturbing others.

breakfast had a large choice of jams and marmalades with homemade breads available. fresh fruit and juices completed the comprehensive continental selection. it was a really enjoyable experience. access to the floors was simple.

a mixed experience in a quirky space.
uncomfortable bed unsettling vibe
the hosts seemed friendly enough.
The 'library' room felt more like i was sleeping in a storage unit, surrounded by books and other random items. a photograph of a child hanging above the bed added a slightly unsettling vibe. also, the bed was quite uncomfortable. It felt similar to sleeping on a camp bed.

cluttered room inconvenient bathroom
the room assigned to me was not up to par. it felt more like a storage space than a proper guest room, cluttered with various items. the private bathroom, though clean, was located down the hall. this arrangement lacked privacy and was inconvenient during the night.
